Executive Viewer provides users real-time web access to
online analytical processing (OLAP) databases for
advanced analysis and reporting. By providing
self-service OLAP, Executive Viewer removes the barriers
that obstruct decision-making by offering true dynamic
interaction.
Responsiveness and usability are critical requirements
for OLAP viewers, but I am often very disappointed by
the performance of OLAP tools over the Internet.
Executive Viewer is the only OLAP front-end I have used
that is too fast even to time when querying
internationally across the public Internet, with both
Analysis Services and Essbase servers.
